For students who do not walk or get dropped off at school, two bussing options are available depending on the age and/or pickup location of the child(ren). All arrangements for bussing - and payment, when required - are made directly with the transportation service selected.
All K-5 Notre Dame students who live more than two miles from school are able to ride the school bus to and from school through the Howard-Winneshiek Community School District's transportation services. Preschool students may only be bussed to AM session or from PM session; mid-day service is not available.

The Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC) EARL Public Transit Program is a public transit provider through the Iowa Department of Transportation. EARL provides transportation services for residents within the Cresco city limits and other Northeast Iowa counties, including to and from school. Rural routes are available.
