After School Program Coordinator

Join our school family! Notre Dame Catholic School in Cresco, Iowa is seeking an After School Program (Kids Club) Coordinator for the 2026-27 school year.

The After School Program Coordinator oversees Notre Dame's on-site Kids Club, giving Notre Dame students ages 5-12 a safe, well-supervised environment each day after school. This role plans a balanced mix of activities, crafts, quiet time, and games to keep the program engaging and age-appropriate. Kids Club runs daily from 3:10-5:30 PM, making this a great fit for a high school or college student looking for after-school work - no weekends required!

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with children preferred - applicants should enjoy being with children and be ready to have fun!
Responsible and reliable
Strong communication skills with students, parents, and other building staff
Consistent in following discipline procedures
Detail-oriented, particularly with record keeping
Able to administer minor first aid
Willing to do light end-of-day cleaning, such as vacuuming, wiping tables, and putting materials away

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and willing to complete a background check. Additional training may be required.

Hours are 3:00-5:30 PM (or until all students have been picked up), Monday through Friday when school is in session - approximately 12 hours per week. Kids Club runs only during the school year and is not held on days with early dismissal due to weather or other emergencies. Pay starts at $12.00 per hour and is flexible based on experience.
